Tell us about your experience in Wedding Photography?
I have been in the photography business for over 15 years. I live in Ireland but have photographed many weddings all over Europe as I am available worldwide.
What is your style? What can we expect on our Wedding Day?
Your day will be captured in Documentary Style, meaning "as it happens". In our experience this is the best way to capture your big day from beginning to end. There will only be a couple of moments where we will need to shoot staged photographs for your perfect album, and the pictures you want to have framed or give to your family. You will also have many candid shots from the whole day, as well as photos of the reception venue itself and it´s decor. We will be documenting your wedding day in a professional and thoughtful manner and we aim to be as unobtrusive as possible. At the same time we will be ready to accommodate any request from you, your family and your guests.
Do you have any insurance?
Yes. We carry Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
Do you have backup equipment?
At Best Photography Dublin, we use professional Nikon equipment and always use two cameras with different lenses and carry backup cameras as well as several lenses. We believe that preparation is the key to success and we would never risk missing anything from your wedding. We are ready for any and every situation!
What are the pros of booking your second photographer? Do I need one for my wedding day?
My second photographer will not only give you another set of several hundred lovely photos, but having a second photographer will also give you photos taken from different angles and perspective. Clients who booked my second photographer in the past were delighted with all the extra photos they got.
Do you have a videographer?
We have our own professional videographers, with years of wedding experience, who use top of the range equipment and work to the highest standard.
Do you use a drone?
We are now using drones to get beautiful aerial videos and photographs of venues, action shots and much more. We are fully certified to fly drones and have many years of experience in with them. Videos and photographs are of the best resolution with no shaking. You can see some examples of how we use drones in our videos by clicking here.
Can you film in 4K?
Filming in Ultra HD resolution, known as 4K, is also available. We have the latest technology and the skills needed to deliver your videos in stunning 4K quality, bringing you the finest detail possible.
What can we expect from the photo booth?
Our photo booth is a lot of fun for you and your guests. It is a portable-studio based photo booth and it will give you 6x4 inch photos printed instantly. Once you book the photo booth there is no limit to number of photos you can get. If required, we will also supply a photo album for your guests to add photos to as well as personalized messages if requested.
Do you work with an assistant?
There may be a need for an assistant depending on what services you are looking for. We would usually have an assistant to look after the photo booth and help with lightning while shooting staged photos outdoors. There is no extra cost involved.
Can we give you a list of photographs to be taken?
Your input on any level is more than welcome and we would be happy to receive your list to make sure we take the photos that are important to you. Going through "who is who" in the early stage of the day would also help us to make sure that we focus on important family members and also that we don´t miss anyone from any group shots.
How do you feel about guests taking photographs whilst you are working ?
We don’t mind at all as long as they are respectful to us and the bride and groom.
Can our guests access our online photo gallery?
Yes. We will give special cards with a unique code to any guests of your choice on the wedding day. That way they can access the gallery and even order their own prints.

Do you edit all the photos?
Yes. All images are post processed and delivered to you in the best quality and high resolution .jpg files. You will be able to print all of your images in High Quality. You can order the same to be delivered to your door in the "client area" via our website.
How long will it take before we receive our photographs?
You will receive your photos within 6-14 days.
Do you offer any albums?
Yes, we do. There are several albums to choose from. We bring our albums to meetings so you can see them in person which is the best way for you to choose the right album that will suit you. Albums are delivered within 4-6 weeks of the wedding. All you need to do is select your favorite photos in your online gallery and share this list with us by clicking just one button in your gallery. That way we will get the list of photos of your choice and will start working on your album right away.
What happens if you are ill and unable to photograph our wedding ?
To date this situation has never arisen. However, we have a backup plan for every situation and in case of an emergency, I have a number of colleagues ready to take over at any time and also several other professionals who would look after the photo shoot.
You have photographed our wedding – what happens next?
Once post processing is finished, your photos will be uploaded in full resolution to your own (password protected) gallery with unlimited access. From here you will be able to view your photographs and order your prints. You will receive two USB keys with your photographs in high quality .jpeg files along with your album (where applicable).
Can we order The Wedding Album some time after the wedding?
Absolutely. You are very welcome to come back to us any time, even several months after the wedding.
Can we print our wedding photographs?
Yes, you can take your high-resolution .jpg photographs and print them at any photo lab, or you can buy fine art prints from us through your online gallery.
When is my date officially reserved?
After you decide to book us, the deposit is required to officially book your wedding date as per our company policy. No date can be held provisionally. Your deposit may be paid in cash, via bank transfer or via PayPal or Stripe using all credit and debit cards. You may also choose to pay a package in full.
The final balance is due at least 21 days prior to the wedding date.
